One of the easiest and most fun ways to add a little personal flair to your little one’s outdoor garden oasis is to consider adding some kid’s garden furniture. Benches, rocking chairs, small picnic tables and sand tables can all add a special touch to your youngster’s flower or vegetable garden and encourage him or her to spend more quality time gardening with you.

One of the quickest and most fun ways to add spice to your child’s garden is to add a garden bench. These are relatively inexpensive and easy to assemble. The best part is that you and your child and decorate it yourselves if you purchase a natural wood or wood simulate product. Natural wood benches are a great addition to any garden. They offer you and your child a place to sit and admire your hard work after a long day of weeding, watering, and planting. But, what’s even cooler is that the bench can be painted with a good quality exterior paint so that it reflects who your child is.

The first step to adding a personalized kid’s garden bench to your child’s garden is to purchase a natural wood bench. The next step is to purchase a good quality exterior latex paint and some brushes. A good suggestion would be to buy several pints of paint in several different eye popping colors so that the little artist in your child can emerge.

Then sit back and watch him go. There shouldn’t be a whole lot of restrictions when it comes to painting your bench and the fewer guidelines you give your child, the more creative he or she will be encouraged to become. After all, isn’t that the idea behind the garden anyway? Feel free to extend your little Picasso’s creativity to a natural wood child’s sized rocking chair, picnic table or anything else you might have room for in your garden.
