can i use the seeds out of the pumpkin iv just carved to grow new ones?
hi, iv just carved out my pumpkin with my kids, ii was wondering can i use the seeds to grow new ones next year? the reason im asking is because iv heard somwhere that because the pumkins are picked too early and the seeds tend to be no good and dont have the maximum goodness they need to regrow? so i want to know if this is true? iv saved the pumpkin seeds from my pumpkin and washed and dried them out. i just want to know if its worth planting them in april.
Yes you can. My husband does this every year. Rinse the seeds off, dry them well and put them in a sealed container. Plant in the spring. You’ll have pumpkins!
